John Keats in Teignmouth
John Keats, the poet, spent some time in Teignmouth and the surrounding area in the Spring of 1818. During this period he wrote some material set in the Teign valley. I thought it would interesting to illustrate these local works and so produced a number of pen and ink pieces which eventually formed a short book. To download a pdf of the first few pages of the book click here. A hard copy of the full book can be ordered for £4 plus postage and packaging by contacting me at mfayle16@yahoo.co.uk or writing to me at Berry Cottage, Cliff Walk, Teignmouth, Devon, TQ14 8TP.
